Northwinds Forge, Ltd. has been creating unique and enduring metal art for both private residences, and public display since 1992, utilizing the traditional "hand and hammer" techniques of Blacksmithing combined with modern technology. Our principal focus is hand forged works that are architectural in scope such as fireplace tools and surrounds/ panels, railings, gates, lighting, and furniture pieces. We also produce sculptural works from candle sconces to art pieces.
We have the expertise that allows us to create from the clients "napkin sketch " or to collaborate in the design process from inception to project installation.

How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer a design / build approach to metalworks that allows us to create and install " one of a kind" works that can only be achieved as a result of utilizing blacksmithing / forging techniques. While iron is the predominant material used in creating our railings, gates, hardware, lighting, and hardware, we also incorporate copper and bronze as well. In the end the client, whether it is the homeowner, builder, designer, or architect, can be assured that they will have true handcrafted, forged works, that are specific to their needs and desires. The artist blacksmiths of Northwinds Forge are capable of working in most historical styles and do special projects and restoration work as well.
