How long have you been in business?
Team Strategy first began as an investment advisory service in 1997 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. In 1998, Team Strategy fell under the supervision of the state of Colorado, Department of Regulatory Agencies, Securities Division. Team Strategy expanded its clientele base in 2006 to assist Homeonwer Associations HOA, Condominium Associations, Commercial, Neighborhood and Community Associations.
What is your primary product or service?
Team Strategy is a full service residential and commercial property management company specializing in Homeowner Association HOA, Condominium Association COA, Commercial, Neighborhood and Community Associations. Team Strategy Inc. is the only property management company registered as Investment Advisors within the state of Colorado. With limited resources, Team Strategy has aided numerous associations with addressing the issues of limited reserve funds for capital improvement preservation during a period of decreasing and declining interest returns on their investments. Team Strategy provides accounting, legal, and insurance liaison services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our founder, David Stiver, first began his involvement upon moving into an HOA community in 1992. He would later serve as an Association Secretary, Treasurer, and President. In 2003, he volunteered to self-manage a 176 unit community that was on the brink of financial ruin. In 2006, several other communities sought out David Stiver for his knowledge and expertise in Homeowner Association HOA budgeting and financial management. With a background in business management, economics, finance, and an under-graduate pre-law major, David Stiver and Team Strategy has assisted several individuals and associations with their financial management. David Stiver has been certified as an Expert and Lay Witness to the County and District Courts.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Team Strategy Inc. is the only property management company that is a FINRA member (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) member. Team Strategy Inc. has specific expertise in economics, finance, budgeting, legal research, etc. not presently available by other management companies. As a Microsoft Small Business and Network Partner, Team Strategy Inc. has specific knowledge and training in internet and network services and communication not presently available from any other property and Homeowner Association HOA management company. With a focus on technology, Team Strategy Inc. is able to provide a wide array of internet based web-site and communication services not currently available from most property management companies. To Team Strategy, electronic communication and website integration play a major role in assisting associations with providing better service at lower costs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently, Team Strategy Inc. operates out of its corporate office located at 1825 Austin Bluffs Parkway. In the future, and as the need arises, it is likely that Team Strategy will expand its operations to providing services outside of the Pikes Peak region and incorporate all of the front range.
